The 2008 Grand Traverse is a non-competitive hiking and running event that traverses the Duluth hillside from Jay Cooke State Park ending on the Lakewalk next to Lake Superior, in Canal Park.  The 2008 event will follow the same course as in the inaugural 2007 event.  You can choose from 4 distances; the 27.4 mile Grand Traverse, plus 21.5, 16.7, and 10.2 mile distances.  Participants receive a finishers T-shirt, and Grand Traverse finishers receive an award.
